• To process and confirm your booking.
• To communicate about your stay (check-in instructions, updates).

• Contract performance: processing required to fulfil your booking.
• Legal obligation: Spanish law requires hosts to register guests with local authorities.

6. Data retention

Booking records are retained for 7 years to comply with Spanish tax law. Analytics data is retained for 26 months. You may request earlier deletion of personal data not required for legal compliance.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is processed by PCI-DSS-compliant processors. Administrative access is password protected. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

10. International transfers

Stripe and PayPal may process data outside the EEA. Both operate under EU Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions. Google Analytics data may be transferred to the United States under SCCs.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top will always show the latest version. Material changes will be communicated by email to guests with upcoming bookings.
